Why does the P-10 Pro or P-7 Pro get dramatically less accuracy reading when testing by some apps?

Posted by jack wu on

The accuracy calculated by many apps in the market is based on a single frequency satellite system, so please do not rely on those accuracy readings.
Instead, please observe the DOP values. For example, horizontal accuracy, you could refer to the HDOP value.
Let's use P-7 Pro or P-10 Pro as an example:
HDOP=1.0, the accuracy is 0.5m / CEP50%,
HDOP=2.0, the accuracy is 1.0m / CEP 50%,
etc.
To properly test the accuracy of P-7 Pro, please follow the below "Columbus" official instruction. This instruction apply to P-10 Pro as well.
