The V-1000 comes equipped with a BOSCH barometric sensor, widely recognized as the highest-performing sensor in the industry. By utilizing this cutting-edge technology, you can achieve greater vertical accuracy by following the configuration steps outlined below:

  1. Press the "Up" button until you see the "Settings" option, then select it.
  2. From there, select "Operating Modes" → "GPS Mode".
  3. To pre-calibrate the altitude, go to the "Settings" menu and select "Setup" → "Altimeter Cal" → "On".
  4. Using the up and down buttons, select the current elevation value, which you should obtain in advance from another source.
  5. Enter the value and press the "Select" button to save the setting.
