This document was initially released on September 27, 2021. Please be aware that if you bought your P-10 Pro after January 1, 2022, the firmware already includes support for 5Hz logging. There is no requirement for a firmware update. The Columbus flagship logger P-10 pro has been around for a while. It has excellent accuracy but its log frequency is only 1Hz. Today, I am very excited about getting the 5Hz firmware from Columbus GPS. The firmware increases the log frequency from 1Hz to 5Hz. What is the update / record rate of Columbus P-10 Pro GPS / GNSS Data logger?

The default update rate is 1Hz.  It can be configured to 5Hz by updating the firmware. Please request the  firmware download link by email to info@gpswebshop.com . (Please quote your order number in the subject line, we only provide this version of firmware to our customers. )

My Columbus P-1 / P-10 Pro logger died.

My Columbus P-1 / P-10 Pro logger died.

The symptom:  The P-1 / P-10 Pro  will not charge or turn on. The charging light does not turn on when plugged in to a usb charger.  It also will not turn on when the power button is pressed.   The solution: There is a small hole next to the usb port in P-1 / P-10 Pro. You can insert a pin to reset the unit. Please connect the charger and do the reset at the same time. After reset, the P-1 will become normal.
